Arabian Rig Manufacturing’s training centre in Ras Al-Khair is now hiring for the role of Technical Instructor (Electro-Technical subjects). As an ARM instructor, you will be part of NOV’s international technical environment serving customers worldwide. Our main activities are conducted at our facilities in Ras Al-Khair, KSA, including simulators and other hands-on equipment. We also provide training on-site, offshore, and at other NOV Training centres abroad. You will teach course participants from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. As an instructor in ARM, you will be exposed to many of ARM’s new products and stay updated on the latest technology.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and delivering courses for customer and internal training in Electro-technical subjects (e.g., Siemens PLC, ABB VFD, NOV Control Systems Amphion/Cyberbase, NOV drilling equipment TD, IR, DW, MP).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design technical training programs aligned with organizational and customer needs.
• Develop training schedules and deliver classroom training.
• Conduct onsite, offshore, and product-specific training sessions, webinars, and workshops.
• Prepare training materials such as presentations and worksheets.
• Manage training logistics and report on course activities and outcomes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Maintain and update training equipment, simulators, and curriculum documentation.
• Participate in equipment selection and safety briefings.
• Travel domestically and internationally for field training as required.
• Complete administrative tasks related to training sessions.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver technical training tailored to organizational requirements.
• Conduct onsite and offshore training, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Assess and improve training program effectiveness.

Experience Required:

• Rig experience with NOV equipment and control systems, especially Amphion/Cyberbase.
• Experience working on NOV drilling equipment (TD, IR, DW, MP).
• Proficiency with Siemens PLC S7 and ABB VFD 800/880 Drives.
• Proven experience as a technical instructor is preferred.
• Experience in designing technical course content is a plus.
