Job description
  • Receive, register, categorize and file all incoming and outgoing technical documents, drawings, contracts, and correspondence related to marine projects and vessel operations
  • Maintain document control systems (both electronic and physical), ensuring documents are up-to-date, easily accessible, and securely stored
  • Distribute controlled documents to relevant departments, ship crews, contractors, and clients as per project requirements
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, maritime regulations, classification society standards, and client requirements
  • Track document revisions and updates, maintaining version control and audit trails
  • Support the project and technical teams by providing timely and accurate documentation during vessel maintenance, dry dockings, and repairs
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for document submissions and approvals
  • Generate and maintain reports related to document status, outstanding actions, and compliance
  • Good understanding of marine industry documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficient with document management software (e.g., SharePoint, MS Office).
