Job description

Job Title - Technical Assessor - Crane, Heavy Equipment, Rigging

Client - EnergyTech (FKA SPSP)

Contract Duration - 1 year with possible extension

  • Note - Candidate should have experience with these machines - HE earth move (Forklift, Wheel loader, Skid loader, Telehandler, Bulldozer, Backhoe loader .....) plus the crane.

Job Purpose

  • To conduct Performance Assessments of Contractor’s Staff as part of a pre-screening process for working on Saudi Aramco projects.
  • The Technical Assessor is responsible for the development, implementation, reporting, and analysis of all certifications as assigned.
  • Working as part of the Certification Team, the Technical Assessor will ensure that the written/performance sections of the certifications are developed and maintained according to company policy for disciplines such as Rigging, Crane Operation, and Heavy Equipment Operation.
  • Carry out Heavy Equipment Performance Assessments for H.E., including Telehandler, Trxcavator, Wheel Loader, Pipe Loader, Straddle Carrier, Forklift, Skid Loader, Backhoe Loader, Grader, Bulldozer, Side Boom, etc.

Skills

Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)

  • Technical qualifications or diploma in the relevant craft/subject.
  • Assessor (A1 or equivalent) Award by an accredited body.
  • Certified in specific areas of expertise: Heavy Equipment, Cranes, and Rigging.
  • Fluent in English (reading/writing).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Professional Experience (minimum)

  • At least 5 years of industrial experience in a relevant role.
  • Minimum of 3 years as an instructor/teacher.
  • At least 3 years in an assessment role.
  • Knowledge of training and assessment development is advantageous.

Functional Duties

  1. Assist in developing written and practical assessments in the relevant field.
  2. Ensure assessments are completed efficiently and professionally.
  3. Analyze assessment results.
  4. Mentor team members as required.
  5. Assist with QA audits.
  6. Participate in policy and procedural reviews and development.
  7. Uphold the SPSP Quality Assurance Policy.
