Job description

We are seeking a Team Leader Engineering to support our Engineering Manager in overseeing departmental operations and ensuring the functionality and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems. This role plays a key part in shift leadership and cross-departmental coordination, ensuring seamless service delivery and high maintenance standards throughout the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations in the absence of Engineering leadership.
• Maintain and organize the engineering store inventory.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate building maintenance and MEP works.
• Liaise with external contractors and manage maintenance contracts.
• Conduct inspections of the hotel s interior, exterior, and critical systems.
• Monitor M&E plant, utilities readings, and BMS/GRMS systems.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the fire protection system and perform regular fire alarm tests.
• Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate daily logs.
• Manage chiller water system and lighting systems in public areas.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with local safety regulations.
• Support in cost-reduction, work simplification, and maintenance improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Certificate in Engineering, ideally in electronic, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 4 5 years of experience in hotel engineering operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GRMS, BMS, and HOTSOS platforms.
• Willingness to work shifts and perform extended hours when required.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to Hyatt s hospitality standards.
