Job description

At Electra, we seek talented individuals who share our strategy to be the preferred partner for local and international clients planning events within the GCC.

Under the guidance of the Supervisor, the Team Leader will be responsible for the execution of production, build-up, and dismantling activities.

The Team Leader manages workforce, materials, tools, equipment, and logistics to ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.

Requirements

Main Accountabilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Handle projects independently, ensuring fabrication and installation follow the schedule. Attend production meetings and place timely orders for materials and resources.
  2. Manpower and Material Calculation: Calculate required manpower and estimate materials needed, requesting necessary personnel and ensuring accurate orders.
  3. Job Allocation and Process Adherence: Allocate tasks, follow standard fabrication procedures, and provide technical solutions to improve efficiency.
  4. Equipment and Tool Management: Ensure availability and good condition of tools and machinery.
  5. Quality Control and Materials Management: Monitor quality during production and installation, oversee material use for cost-effectiveness.
  6. Budget and Estimation Compliance: Follow budget estimates, report deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Logistics and Documentation: Submit logistics and material requests timely, track materials to avoid delays.
  8. Worker Management and Time Efficiency: Guide and motivate workers to meet production goals efficiently.
  9. Training and Development: Train workers on new techniques and practices to enhance productivity and quality.
  10. Housekeeping and Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring proper storage and functioning of tools and machinery.
  11. 5S and Lean Management Implementation: Apply 5S principles and Lean techniques to optimize workflows.
  12. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Follow safety policies and procedures in accordance with HSE standards.

Experience: 4 years as a Team Leader or Senior Carpenter

Certification: ITI Course

Education: Junior College (2 years)

Languages: English and Hindi

Systems Knowledge: Basic computer skills (Word, Excel), AutoCAD, SketchUp

Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings, knowledge of carpentry tools and machinery

Other Skills: Motivating workers, flexibility, proactive attitude, adaptability to change
