Collective Responsibilities

  1. Comply with the Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya's code of conduct and ethics.
  2. Promote the vision, mission, values, and desired behaviors of Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya.
  3. Spread the culture of Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya.
  4. Adhere to all rules and regulations of Aquarabia Water Theme Park and Qiddiya.
  5. Perform tasks as directed to achieve organizational goals.
  6. Share knowledge with the team and encourage their development.

Job-Specific Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the safety of all guests and colleagues, with a commitment to zero drownings and loss of life due to drowning.
  2. Coordinate with managers and assistant managers, Aquatics, on the overall operation and performance, focusing on the Aquatics Department.
  3. Oversee daily operations of all 22 aquatic attractions, including inspections, staffing, training, performance, and operations.
  4. Manage the lifeguard team, including performance management, mentorship, training, scheduling, and daily responsibilities.
  5. Ensure guest safety and satisfaction in line with standards, KPIs, and feedback.
  6. Respond to medical emergencies within scope of certification and training.
  7. Assist guests with lost parties, children, and property.
  8. Support other departments as needed, including Six Flags Theme Park.
  9. Maintain cleanliness of guest and colleague areas.
  10. Participate in public relations and marketing activities.
  11. Represent the park during audits related to operations and aquatic safety.
  12. Liaise with other departments to ensure satisfaction.
  13. Work scheduled shifts, including holidays, weekends, and non-operational hours.
  14. Meet physical requirements such as standing for long periods, environmental conditions, physical inspections, and rescue techniques.
  15. Ensure the park is a fun environment for guests, colleagues, and oneself.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in the attraction/recreational industry, with at least 1 year in the Middle East or internationally. Management experience preferred, especially in large-scale waterparks.
  • Skills: Valid ILTP Lifeguard and/or Instructor License or equivalent, relevant attraction certifications, proficiency in Microsoft Office and attraction management IT systems.
  • Core Competencies: Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, work ethic, integrity, high standards, time management, leadership, approachability, safety culture support.
