Job summary

A multinational food company in Jeddah is seeking a tax manager to ensure compliance with tax regulations and drive tax efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in a tax role, fluency in English, and a relevant degree. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, diverse international environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a tax role in a multinational company or with external consultants.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in local language.
  • Relevant degree in Business, Finance & Accounting; CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Support tax audits and ensure compliance.
  • Handle inquiries from tax authorities and provide responses.
  • Stay updated on tax law changes and assess their impact.
  • Provide strategic tax advice for business transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax reports and planning.

A Day in the Life …
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, submission, and filing of various tax returns, including letters of objection and appeals.
  • Support tax audits and litigation processes, ensuring compliance and effective resolution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and requests from tax authorities, providing prompt and thorough responses.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and jurisprudence, and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Provide strategic tax advice on business transactions, contracts, and projects to optimize outcomes and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax reports and contribute to tax planning initiatives aimed at optimizing the company’s tax position.
What will make you successful…
  • Experience in a tax role in Nestlé, or another multinational company or with external consultants.
  • Proficiency in local language. Fluency in English.
  • University Degree in Business, Finance & Accounting. CPA Preferred
