Job description
Overview


  1. Implements all sales plans related to him / her as outlined in the Marketing plan.

  2. Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within his / her marketing area as part of the central filing system.

  3. Promotes and produces sales leads for Moevenpick Hotel Hajar Tower Makkah.

  4. Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales and Marketing, to major marketing areas, calling on accounts within their specific marketing area. Reports to Sales Manager on potential markets needing coverage.

  5. Provides feedback to the Sales Manager on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his / her market areas. Arrange and accompanies clients on Site inspection trips to hotel by major clients.

  6. Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts.

  7. Maintains a high level of exposure in the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts.

  8. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.

  9. Solicits sales from existing qualified accounts. Telephone solicitation. Presentation to group of decision-makers. Follow up and service accounts (by telephone, personal calls, telexes and correspondence).



Qualifications


  • Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.

  • Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant work experience.

  • Basic English skills are a must.

  • Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Is a team player that contributes to and proactively assists co-workers.

  • Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
