Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and publish advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs.
• Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Create calculated fields, parameters, filters, sets, and groups for dynamic visualizations.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and Business teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Implement data security using Tableau's row-level security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau reports and performance.
• Provide end-user training and support.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in data extraction and transformation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance.
• Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R is a bonus.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
