Job Description:
The Systems Integration Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of integration solutions across platforms and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functional interoperability. The role involves coordinating technical resources, resolving integration issues, and ensuring project delivery aligns with standards and timelines. This position plays a key role in translating integration designs into operational solutions within enterprise systems.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in systems integration, with at least 3 years in a coordination or lead role.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, iPaaS, and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Dell Boomi).
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the execution of integration projects across cloud and on-premise platforms based on predefined architecture and standards.
- Supervise a small team of integration engineers or act as the lead technical resource to guide execution.
- Ensure effective configuration and deployment of APIs, middleware components, and data exchange services.
- Monitor integration performance and reliability; handle escalated issues and root cause analysis.
- Support the development of reusable integration patterns and documentation.
- Apply Agile/DevOps practices to support delivery cycles and solution iteration.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to align technical delivery with business needs.
- Ensure integration solutions follow data security and compliance standards.
- Continuously assess and recommend optimizations for integration workflows, tools, and delivery quality.
Certifications (Good to Have):
- TOGAF Foundation (awareness level)
- Certified Integration Professional (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer)
- Microsoft Azure Integration Services, Apigee, or equivalent API management certifications
