The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic System Sales & Marketing Specialist professional to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving the growth of our innovative energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers. This position requires a good understanding of the energy sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, developing high-quality offerings, and gaining customer satisfaction.

How you'll make an impact
  1. Selling Hitachi Energy's portfolio of systems & services to customers, focusing on diversified sales prospects from the assigned segments to achieve required volume, mix, business models, and profitability.
  2. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of the full systems & services offering, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  3. Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews, and proposing recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls. Regularly updating company tools with current status.
  4. Creating added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy, ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in line with Hitachi Energy’s offerings and strategy, including scope, business model, delivery time, payments, and terms, following approval processes.
  5. Ensuring effective marketing activities and clear communication of the latest changes to Hitachi Energy’s portfolio and business models to customers.
  6. Supporting the Sales Manager and front-end organization to identify and develop new market opportunities, sharing know-how and fostering cross-collaboration.
  7. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed.
  8. Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department, ensuring technical and financial aspects, including target pricing and terms, are aligned with approval processes.
  9. Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your background
  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  2. 5-8 years of experience in the energy or industry sector.
  3. Experience in service sales of grid connections is preferred.
  4. Experience with HV Power Electronic solutions is an advantage.
  5. Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders to achieve targets.
  6. Strong analytical skills for sales data and market trends.
  7. Flexibility to adapt strategies based on market conditions.
  8. Commitment to ethical standards, honesty, and transparency.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
