The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic System Sales & Marketing Specialist Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving the growth of our innovative energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. This position requires a good understanding of the energy sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, developing high-quality offerings, and gaining customer satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact
- Selling Hitachi Energy's portfolio of systems & services to customers, focusing on diversified sales prospects from the assigned segments to achieve required volume, mix, business models, and profitability.
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote understanding of our full systems & services offering, and align solutions accordingly. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews, and proposing recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls. Updating company tools with regular updates and status.
- Creating added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy, ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with Hitachi Energy’s offering and strategy (scope, business model, delivery time, payments, and terms) following approval processes.
- Supporting marketing activities and value proposition communication to customers, ensuring updates on portfolio changes are conveyed clearly.
- Assisting Sales Manager and front-end teams in identifying and developing new market opportunities, sharing know-how and fostering cross-collaboration.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities as needed.
- Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department, ensuring technical and financial aspects, including target pricing and terms, are aligned with approval processes.

Your background
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
- 5-8 years of experience in the energy or industry sector is essential.
- Experience in service sales of grid connections is preferred.
- Experience with HV Power Electronic solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders to achieve targets.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Flexibility to adapt strategies based on market changes.
- Commitment to ethical standards, honesty, and transparency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
