System & Operations Performance Senior Manager
Lead and optimize system and operational performance by implementing strategic improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing efficiency through effective resource management and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional coordination to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
Position Accountability Description:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic improvements that align with the airport's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Lead and optimize system and operational performance by ensuring effective resource management and stakeholder collaboration.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence:
- Lead the analysis of system and operational performance metrics, utilizing data analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and develop comprehensive strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Guide the development and execution of performance improvement plans, ensuring these plans are aligned with organizational goals and objectives, and monitoring their progress to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage daily operations by overseeing team activities, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to policies, maintaining smooth and efficient departmental functioning.
- Lead process improvements by analyzing current practices, identifying inefficiencies, and guiding the application of best practices, resulting in increased productivity and reduced costs.
- Manage the implementation of new systems and technologies designed to improve operational performance, coordinating closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and effective integration.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and guidelines by conducting regular and thorough audits and reviews of system and operational processes, implementing corrective actions where necessary to maintain high standards.
- Control unit’s budgets by monitoring expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and making necessary adjustments, ensuring financial accountability and resource optimization.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the seamless integration of new systems and operational processes, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruption and ensure consistency in operations.
- Engage with external partners and vendors to negotiate contracts, secure services, and ensure the delivery of high-quality resources.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Track and evaluate team performance by setting clear goals, conducting regular reviews, and providing constructive feedback, driving continuous improvement and achieving high performance.
- Oversee the training and development programs for staff in system and operational procedures, ensuring all team members are proficient and adhere to best practices, thereby enhancing overall operational competency.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional growth opportunities.
Risk and Compliance Management:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulations.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to innovate and improve existing operational processes, leveraging technology and industry best practices to drive efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, incorporating relevant innovations into the organization’s operations to maintain a competitive edge.

- Bachelor’s degree: Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of total experience in aviation operations, system performance management, or a related field, with a minimum years of experience in management and leadership roles.
- Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma, or Lean Management are advantageous
