Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator who possesses a flexible and proactive approach to managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and secure operations across various IT systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, networking devices, and storage systems.
2. Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
3. Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware.
4. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
5. Ensure network and data security through effective security measures and protocols.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
7. Provide IT support to end-users, addressing their needs and queries proactively.
8. Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Solid experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switches.
• Familiarity with security best practices and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and flexible approach to challenges.
