Position Purpose
Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.
Defines application problems by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
Responsibilities
- Define and document overall business systems architecture and interfaces between different systems according to business strategy and industry standards to meet business requirements.
- Work with Application Manager to define system evolution through implementation, upgrading, and modification to ensure business continuity.
- Implement new business opportunities, identify simplifications, and document operational improvements (Business Process Reengineering) using standard project management tools and methodologies to ensure good architecture, scope, CRM, resource roles, and clarity.
- Ensure completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines; track milestones and timelines across projects; allocate workflow, personnel, and financial resources; analyze and resolve issues that could jeopardize performance or deliverables; analyze financial and operational reports.
- Participate in complex projects such as ERP implementation in respective application areas in coordination with Senior Applications Managers, business teams, and system integrators.
- Monitor system performance and reliability to meet and exceed customer expectations cost-effectively.
- Provide necessary training and knowledge transfer by coaching and conducting training sessions for Finance & Procurement teams.
- Implement quality control procedures through SD System to ensure full compliance with SLAs and IT governance.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- FMCG background is preferred.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT System Application Admin or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
- Expertise in data center management and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation.
- Ability to manage personnel.
