MRG Global is excited to represent our client, a real estate development project with offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are conducting a confidential search for an exceptional leader to join our client as SVP, Asset Management.

The Role:

As the SVP, Asset Management, you will lead the financial and operational performance of all assets. Reporting directly to the ultimate leader of the organisation, you will require an entrepreneurial mindset, agility in managing short-term objectives, and a strategic focus on long-term goals. This role involves overseeing the entire asset lifecycle, from inception and development to optimization and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies aligned with our client’s vision.
2. Drive asset performance for maximum profitability and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.
3. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, leading a multidisciplinary team.
4. Oversee asset performance, administration, and operations, ensuring seamless transitions from development to operations.
5. Manage budgets and drive revenue generation through strategic initiatives.
6. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing our client in external forums and industry events.
7. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
8. Implement robust reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.
9. Design and implement effective policies and governance frameworks, overseeing compliance and continuously refining policies.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates at the pinnacle of their careers within the real estate industry, from a leading, globally recognised organisation. You will come with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. You should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in asset management, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role overseeing large-scale mixed-use projects.

A proven track record in managing diverse asset portfolios and driving performance improvement is essential. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and modeling skills are required, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and experience navigating complex regulatory environments are also crucial.
