Job Duties
- Under general supervision, performs all phases of rigging up and down of Surface Well Testing (SWT) service line equipment on work locations, maintaining control and processing of wellbore fluids during well testing operations, and providing essential reservoir information to the customer using Surface Well Testing and Surface Pressure Control equipment packages.
- Works routinely in various well site environments (onshore and offshore) and base camps as assigned by the Service Coordinator.
- Coordinates and oversees SWT PSL functions at the well site and field camp.
- Provides planning for the job, including rig site surveys, equipment setup, well site direction, and customer support activities.
- Maintains, sets up, tests, and operates equipment at the customer location and field camp.
- Operates and maintains SWT service line equipment, provides basic customer reports, and mentors lower-level Service Operators.
- May serve as an Assessor for junior SWT personnel.
- Monitors instruments, performs calculations to ensure data quality, and consults with customers to promote satisfaction.
- Maintains equipment, ensures safety compliance, conducts safety meetings, and verifies job plans with customer representatives.
- Completes all job documentation, including Job Ticket, Job History Report, and Job Log.
- Demonstrates understanding of reservoir parameters and separator troubleshooting.
Skills typically acquired through high school education and 4 years of SWT experience, including passing company tests or meeting task guidelines. Must be knowledgeable in Testing & Subsea (SWT) service line, interpret schematics, identify ancillary equipment, pressure test equipment safely, and work safely with hand tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are required, along with basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills. Ability to use MS Office, navigate HalWorld, and understand the Halliburton Management System (HMS) and CPI System is necessary.
