Job Summary:

The Support Services Section Head is responsible for overseeing and managing all support functions within the organization, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery. This role involves supervising administrative, government relations, transportation, accommodation, canteen and other support staff, while implementing policies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of support services, including government platforms, office administration, cleaning, transportation and employee’s flight booking.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to improve service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the support services team.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance to all support service members.
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers (cleaning, maintenance, etc..)
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendor compliance.
  • Prepare and manage the support services budget.
  • Oversee space planning, office relocations, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Maintain an inventory of company assets and manage disposals/replacements.
  • Coordinate office supplies, mail distribution, and corporate events.
  • Assist in travel arrangements and accommodation for staff.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for processes, procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in support services, administration.
  • Proven leadership experience with teams in a similar role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and vendor management.
  • Understanding of government compliance regulations.
