Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient operations, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management:

  • Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, production, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.

Inventory Control:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business demands while minimizing excess stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Oversee the order processing from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze supply chain performance indicators and prepare reports for management review.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Finance, and Production to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive projects and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
