Job Summary

The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process — from responding to Material Request Forms (MRFs) and obtaining quotations to preparing client proposals and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires coordination with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations, compliance with company procedures, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Material Request Forms (MRFs) promptly and accurately.
  • Source and obtain competitive quotations from potential vendors and suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
  • Prepare proposals and est commercial offers for clients based on approved quotations and specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors for product samples, approvals, and technical clarifications.
  • Prepare and process payment requests to the finance department as per procurement policy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods to clients or project sites.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Supply Chain Tracker to monitor purchase status, deliveries, and payment progress.
  • Manage procurement documentation, including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and correspondence.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and selection based on price, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and client requirements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and transparency.
  • Any other task assigned by management.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and local surroundings to effectively source and obtain quotations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP/procurement systems.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Valid KSA driving license.
