Main Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier performance to meet the “Product Quality” and “On time delivery” requirements as per Thales standards, utilizing project management and quality tools effectively.
• Coordinate communication between Thales business units and suppliers to ensure program requirements are met, including leading milestone reviews for new product introduction and establishing organizational, work, and resource structures.
• Prepare dashboards and communicate with all project stakeholders, establishing transparent communication mechanisms.
• Resolve supplier queries, set up initial production processes, inspection criteria, and qualification processes for first article and prototype builds, supporting query resolution during series production.
• Monitor supplier readiness regarding supply chain, process qualification, production, and documentation.
• Generate routine reports on supplier performance and coordinate quality issues with relevant teams, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies for analysis and resolution.
• Support supplier development to improve maturity, share best practices, and alert management to potential risks, assisting in implementing strong action plans.
• Assist buyers in identifying and developing cost-efficient processes to reduce prices and lead times.

Competence / Knowledge Required:

• Strong technical background in heavy mechanical fabrication, fixture design & development, and high-level integration, preferably with experience in the fabrication industry.
• Program/project management skills for managing high-level assemblies.
• Excellent knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, IAQG, NADCAP in aerospace and defense industries, including weld quality assessment.
• Mandatory Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
• Ability to develop new capabilities or learn new technologies as needed.
• Experience handling medium to complex “Build To Specification” assemblies with minimal support.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Qualification & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 10-15 years of industrial experience, preferably with Saudi nationality.
• Experience in program management, manufacturing, industrialization, and outsourcing.
• Proficiency in MS Office & Projects, adaptability to changing environments, and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of French is an advantage.
