National Batteries Company (Battariat) is the first Saudi Arabian Automotive Battery Manufacturer, producing quality products based on advanced German technology from Varta Batterie AG, Germany. The National Industrialization Company (TASNEE) holds 90% of the company’s shares, with the remaining held by reputed Saudi businessmen.



An exciting opportunity is available for a Superintendent, Quality & HSE, based in Riyadh.



Summary:



Leads a team of QA/QC staff, ensuring compliance with Tasnee quality, safety, health, and environmental procedures, and good laboratory practices. Manages the operation and continuous improvement of quality assurance and control processes and management systems within resource and budget constraints.



In this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Recruits, trains, develops, and coaches team members to maintain and enhance the group's capabilities.
  • Provides a comprehensive range of testing and QA/QC services to internal and external clients.
  • Leads or participates in QA/QC and multidisciplinary teams investigating and resolving complex quality issues.
  • Ensures compliance with SHE requirements, QA/QC standards, processes, and good laboratory practices.
  • Develops and maintains testing programs and schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Manages QA/QC processes, ensuring standards compliance relevant to client needs.
  • Oversees quality audits and complaint management, monitoring corrective actions.
  • Develops and enhances QA/QC systems, processes, and methods, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversees all QA/QC/HSE operations in the Batt/Lead Business Unit.
  • Manages Blood Lead Level control, fire fighting systems, IMS certification, customer complaints, and equipment calibration.
  • Ensures compliance with international and national standards, MODON & GAMI requirements, and Tasnee policies.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, metallurgy, or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience.
