Job summary

RTX seeks a Subcontracts Lead for a long‑term assignment in the US. The role focuses on leading material and service sourcing, managing supplier performance, and overseeing the full subcontract lifecycle for FMS and DCS customers. Occasional travel and export/import compliance are required.

Qualifications

Raytheon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Subcontracts Lead to lead the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance, and oversee the full subcontract purchase order lifecycle supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) customers.

You will ensure complete and accurate requirements are communicated to suppliers, all export and import obligations are executed effectively, and serve as Raytheon’s primary contractual interface for production and service deliverables.

This accompanied onsite role will be in Jeddah or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a long-term assignment under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with additional compensation benefits and potential extensions.

Travel up to 25% within the region and occasionally to other locations asneeded.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

What You Will Do
  • Execute and lead the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, ensuring full alignment with program requirements, technical needs, and strategic business goals.
  • Drive supplier performance through proactive oversight, ensuring on time delivery and consistent quality across all materials and services.
  • Manage the complete subcontract purchase order lifecycle—from RFP development through subcontract award and post‑Proof of Manufacturing administration—ensuring compliance, performance, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct complex cost and price analyses to determine fair and reasonable pricing. Negotiate competitive terms that optimize value and support financial objectives.
  • Ensure all export and import requirements are implemented accurately and efficiently, maintaining strict compliance through close coordination with the Global Trade team.
  • Advance subcontracting efficiencies through the application of CORE methodologies, tools, and best practices to strengthen operational performance.
  • Deliver clear, data‑driven reporting on supplier performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with CONUS‑based subcontract managers and internal partners across legal, contracts, and compliance to ensure synchronized and effective subcontracting activities.
  • Maintain effective supplier administration and communication to support ongoing performance, issue resolution, and long‑term relationship management.
Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
