A leading company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Subcontracts Coordinator to manage cost estimates, contractor evaluation, and project compliance across various civil and mechanical works. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the oil & gas sector, particularly with Aramco projects. This role requires strong analytical abilities and proficiency in budgeting and cost control within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in oil & gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding standards and civil work procedures.
  • Experience with Aramco projects is an advantage.

Title:


Subcontracts Coordinator
  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil, scaffolding, insulation, Painting and mechanical works.
  • Evaluate and verify contractor invoices, claims, and variations; prepare payment certificates.
  • Conduct regular site measurements and track work progress against BOQs and project milestones.
  • Liaise with project management, procurement, and engineering teams to monitor budgets and control costs.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor contracts.
  • Maintain updated cost reports, forecasts, and trend analyses for management review.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide commercial input regarding work scope changes.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, standards, and contract conditions.
  • Support in preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.
  • Evaluate tender submissions and prepare cost comparison sheets when required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–8 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, preferably within an industrial plant or refinery environment.
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding standards, insulation types, painting systems, and civil work procedures.
  • Experience with SATORP or Aramco projects is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of contractual terms, FIDIC/Aramco/SATORP contracting practices, and cost control techniques.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
