Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Structural Engineer in Riyadh, KSA for a giga mixed-use project based in Riyadh, which encompasses public realm, urban infrastructure elements, high-end residential and cultural assets. The project is currently pending imminent award.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and oversight on all structural engineering aspects of transportation projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to review and evaluate structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity, identify risks, and propose solutions.
  • Monitor on-site structural work to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Work with contractors and suppliers to resolve structural issues during construction.
  • Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to structural works.
  • Conduct structural assessments and recommend modifications as needed.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to structural activities.
  • Act as a technical liaison with clients and authorities regarding structural matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
  • PE license or equivalent preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering, especially in high-rise buildings or towers, with experience in the UAE is a must.
  • Knowledge of UAE building codes and construction practices.
  • Site supervision experience.
  • Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of site operations, safety, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
