Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Structural Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will work under the supervision of senior engineers to ensure designs are safe, efficient, and compliant with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and civil structures using appropriate software and methodologies.


• Prepare structural drawings, design reports, and calculation packages for concrete, steel, and composite structures.


• Perform load calculations, modeling, and simulations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project specifications.


• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to ensure coordinated and integrated design.


• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, IBC).


• Review shop drawings and submittals and provide technical support during the construction phase.


• Assist in site inspections, resolve technical queries, and addressing design-related issues during execution.


• Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to value engineering and optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design and analysis.


• Proficient in structural design software such as STAAD. Ro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.


• Familiarity with structural detailing and reinforcement requirements.


• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards.


• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary design team.
