About the job STRUCTURAL BIM COORDINATOR
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural BIM Coordinator to oversee and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects. The candidate will coordinate structural BIM activities across multiple projects, ensuring that all models meet required design, construction, and coordination standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and manage structural BIM models using Revit and other Autodesk tools.
Collaborate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate model development.
Coordinate with architects, MEP coordinators, and contractors to resolve design clashes using Navisworks or similar software.
Implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), model standards, and workflows.
Ensure that BIM deliverables meet client requirements and adhere to project timelines.
Lead BIM coordination meetings, providing model reviews and clash detection reports.
Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM standards and software.
Maintain version control and documentation of model revisions.
Assist in quantity take-offs and shop drawing preparation from the BIM model.
Work closely with construction teams to support project execution and handover.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural modeling and BIM coordination.
Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2 requirements.
Experience in infrastructure, high-rise buildings, or industrial projects is an advantage.
Strong understanding of structural systems, detailing, and construction techniques.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
