Job Purpose
Developing, executing, and monitoring strategic initiatives that align with the Cultural Oasis Center s (COC) long-term objectives. This role ensures that COC s projects, policies, and operational activities are strategically aligned, efficiently executed, and continuously optimized. The Manager will oversee the development of strategic plans, performance measurement frameworks, and cross-functional coordination to drive sustainable growth, agritourism development, and cultural preservation.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with COC s vision.
Oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives, programs, and projects to ensure effective implementation.
Develop data-driven frameworks for measuring success and tracking progress.
Facilitate collaboration between COC s internal teams, RCU leadership, and external partners.
Design and implement long-term strategies for sustainable oasis regeneration and agritourism growth
Lead and manage high-impact programs related to oasis preservation, regenerative agriculture, and cultural tourism.
Establish data collection methodologies to track strategic initiatives' impact and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with RCU governance frameworks, risk management policies, and reporting structures
Identify funding opportunities and partnerships to support program execution.
Develop and maintain internal guidelines for aligning projects with COC s long-term mission.
Develop quarterly performance dashboards for executive decision-making.
Managerial Responsibilities
Provide input to the sector s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.
Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets
Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.
Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.
