Job description

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for assisting in the development of stc Group strategy, supporting subsidiaries and ensuring alignment with strategy, developing innovative strategy and solution, and ideation of digital business and operations. The role holder is also responsible for providing inputs to Strategic Planning in order to translate corporate strategy in quantifiable targets and initiatives. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze group-level topics requiring analysis or insights extraction.
  • Determine and develop stc’s position on key strategic topics affecting Group or multiple clusters;
  • Review Cluster and FU strategies and challenge for quality and alignment with group strategy, in alignment with Strategy Management
  • Support relevant Clusters and FUs response to selected strategic topics within their domain
  • Gather information on best practices for strategic analysis
  • Support key Public-Private Partnership (PPP) programs (e.g., Shareek, Global Champions) by providing key strategy inputs and guidance
  • Support GCEO on ad-hoc priority topics
  • Support Strategy Management to prepare for key meetings on strategic topics with external stakeholders
