Job Summary:
The Strategy Implementation Engineer is a key role responsible for driving the successful implementation of the Taif Municipality's strategic plan (2025-2028) across the Municipalities Agency. This position will oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, monitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure alignment with the Municipality's vision, mission, and values, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of municipal operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Plan Implementation:
- Lead and manage the implementation of the Taif Municipality's strategic plan across all departments within the Municipalities Agency.
- Develop detailed implementation plans for specific strategic initiatives, defining clear timelines, responsibilities, and resource requirements.
- Establish project plans for the sub objectives
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress towards strategic objectives, according to the established system for measuring indicators.
- Generate regular performance reports and dashboards to communicate project status, identify challenges, and propose corrective actions, and set actions plan
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented projects and initiatives against agreed targets and make adjustments as necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective collaboration and communication between all departments within the Municipalities Agency to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and implementation efforts.
- Coordinate and chair regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and ensure effective collaboration.
- Develop a detailed communication channel
Quality Management and Process Improvement:
- Drive the implementation of the ISO9001 Quality Management System within the Municipalities Agency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Work with departments to make sure that all process are digitalized
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:
- Engage with citizens and gather feedback on the impact of strategic initiatives and implemented projects.
- Prepare and present reports on strategic performance to senior management, government agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
Risk Management:
- Identifying possible risks and developing prevention steps
- Participate in meetings, discuss the steps and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Urban Planning, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in strategic planning, project management, or a related field within a government or municipal environment.
- Strong understanding of urban development, municipal operations, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and performance measurement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools is preferred.
