Job PurposeJobs at this level are responsible for contributing to the development of strategy, goals, and initiatives, performing advanced and technically complex data and information analysis activities, and preparing recommendations accordingly. They are also responsible for market research, feasibility studies, participating in identifying potential opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning- Contribute to the development of STC strategy while coordinating across sectors and within the specified area of work. Support the implementation of strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Coordinate across sectors and stakeholders for conducting strategic workshops to facilitate efficient workflow and accurate outputs.
- Assist senior management in consolidating sector and OpCo input on strategic analysis and consider amendments to STC’s strategy.
- Liaise with market research agencies to leverage insights on external market environment, competition analysis, and latest trends for strategy formulation.
- Supervise feasibility studies, prepare market forecasts and activity plans, and track progress and business outcomes.
Data Analysis & Reporting- Contribute to articulating comprehensive plans for STC’s analysis and reporting projects and develop processes for assigned projects.
- Perform complex analysis of STC’s business, market, and performance data, reviewing all relevant reports for accuracy.
- Review reports to ensure the accuracy of results and support improvements in reporting efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of Data Analysis & Reporting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Monitor the performance of various sectors periodically against strategic plans and targets to ensure adherence.
- Identify potential business opportunities, analyze profitability, and allocate resources to support effective decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities- Coordinate across work units within the specified area to ensure efficient workflows and accurate outputs.
- Manage projects and initiatives as required by senior management.
- Allocate work plans to team members, ensuring timely reports and analyses for management decisions.
- Participate in preparing budgets, monitor adherence, and highlight discrepancies.
- Supervise work teams to ensure continuity and develop team members for higher responsibilities.
Experience and Education- 5+ years of experience in strategy within the technology/telecommunication industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant fields.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
Skills- Advanced proficiency in business acumen, data collection, analysis, reporting, and relevant software/tools.
