Job summary

The Senior Cost Control Engineer at Power International Holding (PIH) will be responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasting costs, and controlling expenditures to ensure profitability. You will perform variance analysis, prepare senior management reports, and implement cost control procedures across projects.

You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and procurement to optimize resources, identify risks, and drive corrective actions while supporting HSE and IMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience with CCS (Candy) and SAP ERP.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Knowledge of multi-project resource planning.
• Strong project and programme management fundamentals.
• Ability to forecast costs and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecast costs.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on financial performance for senior management.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting costs.
• Establish cost control procedures and enforce compliance.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, procurement to align costs.
• Implement cost tracking systems and expense approvals.
• Improve cost control processes using tools and best practices.
• Provide guidance to junior cost control staff.
• Support HSE initiatives and align with IMS policies
