Under the supervision of the Stock Coordinator, the Storekeeper will be responsible for inventory management, stock handling, data entry, and ERP activities.
Key Responsibilities: Store Operations
Order Fulfillment
- Pick and pack materials based on production requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production teams.
- Store materials in an organized manner for easy access.
- Coordinate daily activities with the team.
- Verify that item descriptions, quantities, and units of measure are accurately recorded in internal PRs.
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials and products.
- Label, tag, and store materials per warehouse guidelines.
Material Handling
- Transport materials and products to/from production areas.
- Support loading and unloading of shipments safely and accurately.
- Ensure availability of materials for production lines as required.
Stock Rotation
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to avoid expired material usage.
- Identify and report damaged or expired items for disposal or return.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized; ensure aisles and storage areas are clear.
- Report safety hazards or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement, material usage, and deliveries.
- Generate regular stock level and material requirement reports.
- Follow company recycling protocols and ensure proper disposal of consumables.
Collaboration
- Work closely with production, quality control, and warehouse teams.
- Assist in inventory forecasting and stock planning.
- Take charge of the store in the absence of the Stock Coordinator.
Requirements
Experience
- 2-3 years as a Store Assistant, with hands-on experience in full store functions and stock handling.
Education & Certification
- Degree or equivalent.
- ERP knowledge (preferred).
Languages
- English: Read, write, and speak fluently.
Nationality
Technical Skills
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
Other Skills
- Physically fit; able to lift weights up to 25 kg.
- Strong communication (written and verbal).
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Flexible to work on weekends and late evenings.
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
- Use all machinery, appliances, tools, and equipment safely and as instructed.
- Wear and enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Never remove safety devices from machines or installations.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and collaborate to maintain a risk-free work environment.
- Follow recycling and sustainability processes to reduce environmental impact.
