Job description

A Storekeeper is responsible for managing and organizing the inventory in a store or warehouse. The Storekeeper will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and will work in a private sector company. The main responsibility of the Storekeeper is to ensure that all inventory is properly stored, accounted for, and easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Chemistry or a related scientific field
  • Saudi nationality
  • English (both written and spoken)
  • Certified in Occupational Safety and Health standards (OSHA and NEBOSH)
  • Prior experience in chemical storage, inventory control, or safety coordination is preferred
  • governmental procedures and regulations related to chemical handling
  • Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols, material handling, and environmental hazard prevention
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and follow up on procurement needs
  • Capable of acting as a liaison with government agencies regarding chemical substances (Ethaline gas)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate with multiple teams
  • Smart, detail-oriented, and able to handle responsibility under minimal supervision
  • Age 25 years and above
  • Good physical health and not classified as a person with disability
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and organizational skills
  • Able to work in cold store environments and follow safety procedures consistently
