About The Role

  • Communicate store targets to the team and drive sales to meet financial objectives.
  • Maintain proper loss prevention standards and ensure compliance with cash handling, fraud, and theft policies.
  • Oversee all point of sales activities, including sales transactions, customer orders and payments, inventory updates, providing service, handling returns and refunds, and collecting consumer feedback.
  • Manage cash transactions, petty cash, POS cash elements, and change floats.
  • Conduct regular audits of store administration, assist in annual stock counts and spot checks.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Track and evaluate sales performance, research market trends and competitors, and propose strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Analyze sales reports, monitor stock levels, and provide insights to optimize stock potential.
  • Maintain high standards for window and in-store displays according to merchandising guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock availability, order processing, and stock movement within the store.
  • Ensure accurate stock management, including stock aging, loss, and space utilization.
  • Coordinate with the facilities department for repairs and replacements, supporting maintenance standards to extend asset life.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure excellent customer service, prepare schedules, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Account for seasonal peaks and promotional events when planning forecasts and staffing.
  • Train team members in inventory management techniques, including goods receiving, stocking, restocking, transfers, and discrepancy management.
