Job description

Responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers, maintaining store standards, achieving financial targets, and relaying feedback about customers and products to relevant role holders. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the fashion retail market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the store team to achieve store targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure store shrinkage remains below 0.2% of sales.

Processes:

  • Conduct regular financial and stock audits.
  • Update, track, and communicate the store dashboard regularly.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain employee records (Leave Management, Passports, Performance and Conduct History, Roster Management).
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs, analyze sales performance to identify improvement areas.
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and provide feedback.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to higher management on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on performance metrics.
  • Manage back-store operations and merchandise replenishment.
  • Implement security measures to prevent theft and ensure safety.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage store expenses, budgets, and financial goals.

Customer Relations:

  • Achieve club apparel, NPS, and DSES goals.
  • Maintain relationships with mall management.
  • Communicate effectively with the back-office team regarding store activities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Manage employee performance and conduct.

Learning & Development:

  • Continuously upgrade self and team skills, creating a pipeline for future store managers.
  • Identify learning gaps and create processes to address them.
  • Conduct training for new hires and ongoing product knowledge sessions.

Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of progressive experience in a customer-centric role with strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proven success in enhancing customer engagement and exceeding sales KPIs. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
