A leading company in the coil manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Store Keeper to manage inventory operations. You will oversee materials, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in storekeeping and proficiency in ERP systems, ensuring smooth material flow within the organization.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and oversee our inventory operations in a coil manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing engineering stores, specifically dealing with raw materials, coils, finished goods, and maintenance tools. The role requires accurate stock handling, timely material issuance, and maintaining proper documentation in line with industry standards.
Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, particularly coils and related components.
Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
Issue materials as per production requirements and record all stock movement in ERP or inventory systems.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely reordering to avoid production delays.
Ensure physical stock verification and reconciliation with system data on a periodic basis.
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) and other inventory control techniques.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper labeling of store areas.
Coordinate with purchase, production, and quality control teams for smooth material flow.
Prepare and submit reports such as stock summary, consumption reports, and shortage alerts.
Handle documentation for inward/outward movement including GRN, DC, invoices, etc.
Supervise helpers and ensure adherence to safety protocols in the store.
Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (preferably in Logistics, Materials Management, or Mechanical Engineering).
Certification in Inventory/Store Management is an added advantage.
Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations, especially in a coil manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or other inventory management software).
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to lift and manage materials as per job requirements.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of safety and housekeeping practices.
