Day-to-Day Activities of a Stores Assistant
  1. Receiving Deliveries: Unloading and processing incoming deliveries. Verifying the quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
  2. Inventory Management: Updating inventory records, ensuring proper labeling and storage of items.
  3. Stock Issuance: Issuing supplies based on requisitions, ensuring accurate quantities.
  4. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Keeping storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
  5. Monitoring Stock Levels: Checking inventory regularly, notifying relevant departments when stock is low.
  6. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of transactions, reports, invoices, and requisitions.
  7. Quality Control: Inspecting goods for damages or defects, reporting issues.
  8. Assisting with Inventory Audits: Participating in stock counts and ensuring records match physical inventory.

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel or Business Administration
  • Two to three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with international luxury hotel chains and GCC exposure
  • English Fluency required; Arabic Fluency preferred
