Job summary

SAMSUNG E&A is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for Steel-Structure discipline to ensure compliance with project quality requirements and international codes. You will establish inspection plans, review documentation, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to maintain quality across the Steel-Structure scope.

The role requires diploma in mechanical engineering and familiarity with ASME/API/AISC standards, with responsibilities spanning inspection management, NCR control, and material

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering with related certification.
• Experience from project start to completion on EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/API/AISC codes and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform inspection of Steel-Structure discipline.
• Generate RFIs for inspection points as required.
• Review ITP and MAR documents.
• Review and approve inspection reports.
• Control NCRs and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections with client.
• Conduct preparatory meetings with subcontractors.
• Inspect incoming material deliveries and verify compliance.
• Ensure bolt tightening and structural workmanship meet requirements.
• Monitor quality violations via toolbox talks.
