An established industry player is seeking a Steel Structural QC Inspector to ensure compliance with Aramco and international standards. The role involves performing inspections on structural steel fabrication and erection, monitoring welding and bolt tightening, and preparing detailed reports. With a focus on quality assurance, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of international codes. Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections on structural steel fabrication and erection works.
Ensure materials, welding, bolt tightening, and alignments meet Aramco and international codes.
Monitor WPS, welder qualifications, and fabrication tolerances.
Conduct fit-up, visual, and dimensional inspections and prepare corresponding reports.
Coordinate with the construction team and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
Issue and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
Ensure that all work is documented and traceable as per Aramco requirements.
Requirements:
Aramco Approved and CBT Passed (SAP/CBT number must be provided).
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel QC inspection.
Strong knowledge of international codes (AWS D1.1, AISC, ASTM, etc.).
Familiarity with structural drawings, shop fabrication, and site erection.
Proficient in preparing ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, and QA/QC documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
