A leading company in Saudi Arabia seeks a highly skilled Static Design Engineer experienced in PV Elite software. The role involves designing and analyzing pressure vessels and heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with relevant codes like ASME and TEMA. Ideal candidates hold a BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Static Design Engineer with hands-on experience in PV Elite software, and expertise in designing heat exchangers and pressure vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background and in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards such as ASME, TEMA, and API.
Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze pressure vessels and heat exchangers using PV Elite and other relevant tools. Prepare detailed design calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings. Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME Sec VIII, Div 1/2, TEMA, API, etc.). Coordinate with fabrication, procurement, and quality departments to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Perform stress analysis, nozzle load evaluations, and support design. Participate in technical meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Prepare technical documentation including design reports, datasheets, and inspection test plans. Ensure timely delivery of design packages with high quality and accuracy.
Key Skills and Qualifications: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design. Proficiency in PV Elite software (mandatory). Familiarity with design codes like ASME, TEMA, API, PD 5500. Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and material selection. Strong understanding of thermal and mechanical design principles. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
