Job description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing.

3 years of experience in the same field.

Dataflow is a must.

Saudi license holder is a plus.

Fluent in English.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  1. Assesses, utilizing age-specific data, the patient's physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner.
  2. Demonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient, based on scientific facts and principles.
  3. Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards.
  4. Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention.
  5. Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Assists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate.
  7. Demonstrates sound decision-making in emergency scenarios based on patient conditions such as vital signs, patient presentation, and assessments.
  8. Ensures the proper functions of feeding tubes, ventilators, catheters, and other life support equipment.
  9. Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  10. Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
  11. Provides care for all patients, including handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, Medlock insertions, splinting, and more.
  12. Applies nursing care to patients connected with mechanical ventilators and their alarms.
  13. Assists in the care of traumas, cardiac arrests, strokes, and other triage situations.
