In charge of providing comprehensive nursing care making use of the nursing process as well as conforming to the established requirements of nursing technique and performance.
Essential Responsibilities and Obligations
Gives total client care as assigned according to the core requirements of individual care and established plans and evidence-based methods.
Assumes responsibility for evaluating, planning, executing, and assessing care as well as discharge preparation for each client.
Contributes to reducing the length of stay/waiting time according to unit specific objectives.
Works in collaboration with Case Management to accomplish goals.
Records all appropriate information correctly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to Head Nurse or designee.
Contributes to the achievement of cost-effectiveness savings on the unit.
Maintains awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
Monitors activities in the patient waiting areas and notifies appropriate individuals of unusual events.
Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
Participates in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required.
Experience Needed
No experience is required (on-job training).
Other Requirements (Certifications)
Current Registered Nurse Licensure from home country and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required. Specialized hospital training i.e. midwifery or certified nursing aide is required.
