Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Essential
Work Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field Essential
English Language Skills: Level I Essential
IELTS: 6, STEP: 75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61)
Job Responsibilities
Principal Duties:
- Provides total care in accordance with the plan of care to patients with respect to their privacy, dignity, personal preference and culture, manages and monitors conditions, and maintains knowledge of resources of therapeutic effects, usual dosages, contraindications, side effects and adverse reactions for all drugs.
- Performs a comprehensive assessment of patient health status, as well as documents all assessments, interventions and other relevant information.
- Collaborates with patients and the health care team to develop and update a plan of care that is consistent with the medical diagnosis and based on the patient's changing physical, psychosocial and age related requirements.
- Measures outcomes against specified goals and, key performance indicators of KAIMRC, as well as identifies significant trends or changes within the industry.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with infection prevention and control, ensures adequate supplies and readiness of equipment are available at all times, as well as reports maintenance issues, broken or damaged instruments and equipment.
- Practices within established standards, policies and procedures, as well as demonstrates required skills and knowledge, strategies and tools of quality improvement to meet standards of care.
- Protects patient privacy and dignity at all times and maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with the organizations ethics, and advocates for patient/family rights at all times.
- Complies with area-specific duties with precise policies which will be provided by the supervisor when hired for special units which must be signed by the employee in addition to this job description.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
