A leading healthcare staffing agency is seeking a skilled Cardiac ICU Nurse in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have a BSN and relevant certifications, delivering specialized care to cardiac patients post-surgery and maintaining high standards of care and safety. Collaboration with medical teams and patient education are key aspects of this role, ensuring comprehensive cardiac care.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery and heart failure cases. - Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and manage advanced life support equipment such as ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and cardiac monitors. - Administer cardiac medications, manage IV infusions, and titrate vasoactive drips as per protocols. - Act swiftly in emergencies such as cardiac arrest and participate in Code Blue and ACLS protocols. - Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other ICU team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). - Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions and treatments. - Ensure compliance with infection control measures, safety standards, and hospital policies. - Participate in unit-based audits, quality initiatives, and ongoing nursing education. - Maintain readiness and functionality of CICU equipment and supplies.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution. - Valid nursing license from home country (SCFHS license or eligibility preferred). - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Cardiac ICU or equivalent critical care setting. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. - Expertise in cardiac monitoring, ventilator support, and emergency cardiac care. - Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and emotional resilience. - Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
