Overview
Role main purpose: will be responsible to provide technical and operational expertise to control all security activities of Kidana's properties, employees, tenants, and visitors by implementing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining an effective security system.
Responsibilities
- Security Contract Management
- Oversee security contracts starting from preparation to completion, ensuring all contractual requirements and deliveries are met.
- Maintain continuous communication with service providers to ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Review and approve monthly invoices submitted by service providers, ensuring that all services rendered are accurately reflected and in compliance with contract terms.
- Issue violations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any breaches of contractual obligations.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for security personnel, ensuring that they are well-equipped to carry out their duties.
- Supervise Security Operations
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day operations of security teams including access control, security operation center, and inspections to ensure effective service delivery.
- Write and update post instructions documents to provide clear, detailed guidelines for security staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle personnel issues as necessary.
- Security Audits and Drills
- Plan, prepare, and conduct regular security drills to ensure readiness and efficiency in responding to potential threats or emergencies.
- Prepare and perform security audits to evaluate compliance with internal security instructions and procedures.
- Policy and Procedure Implementation
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to company security policies and procedures across all sites.
- Security Incident Management
- Respond swiftly to security incidents, assess the situation, and initiate corrective actions to mitigate risk and resolve the issue.
- Investigate incidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
- Prepare incident and investigation reports and provide detailed documentation of the event, including actions taken and outcomes.
- Establish direct lines for communications with all stakeholders including emergency teams, departments, contractors, vendors and service providers.
- Public Event and VIP Visit Management
- Oversee security arrangements for public events, ensuring the safety of attendees and smooth execution of the event.
- Work collaboratively with the Security External Affairs Section in developing and implementing security plans for VIP visits.
- Supervise security personnel at public events and VIP visits, ensuring appropriate crowd control and protection measures are in place.
- Monitor real-time security adjustments during events, ensuring all risks are mitigated promptly.
- Security Awareness Promotion
- Promote security awareness throughout the organization by conducting regular awareness programs, workshops, and briefings for security policing and procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams and departments within the organization regarding security-related issues.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation
- Identify security risks and vulnerabilities across the organization and report them to Security Operation Manager for assessment.
- Identify risks, gaps and failures in Security Procedures, physical measures, and systems and report them to the Security Operation Manager for further evaluation and correction.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of security operations, contract fulfillment, and any issues or incidents.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management or clients regarding the status of security operations, staffing, and contract compliance.
- Document security incidents, audits, drills, public event security, VIP visits, and any other significant events to ensure full compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field.
- Professional and Technical Certificates (preferred): Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a security professional.
