A leading healthcare provider is seeking experienced paramedics to respond to emergencies, provide advanced life support and lead medical teams in high-pressure situations. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, extensive field experience, and various certifications in emergency medical care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on patient care and safety during medical emergencies.
Scope
Responds to all emergencies or 110 calls (medical, trauma, tactical) or disasters (mass casualty incidents) by ground or air. Triages victims at the scene, takes scene command, provides BLS and ALS (basic/advanced life support) medical care for ill and/or injured patients in pre-hospital settings, and transports patients to appropriate medical care facilities. Ensures readiness and preparedness of emergency disaster response in terms of ambulances, equipment, and availability. Assists in decontaminating contaminated patients in or out of hospital using appropriate HAZMAT PPE and procedures. Acts as part of the critical patient transfer team from one medical facility to another. Acts as a team leader of the medical crew at any emergency situation, providing guidance, leadership, and direction as needed. Ensures ambulance calls are completed efficiently and safely. Performs paramedic skills as a member of the trauma team.

External: Police, Government Affairs, Industrial Security, Fire Fighters, Rescue Teams, other company employees and dependents.
Principal Duties
Follows EMT Paramedic standing orders, protocols, and advanced life support guidelines, including ACLS and PALS.
Participates in drills.
Assesses safety and hazards at emergency scenes.
Provides specialized rescue services where trained.
Ensures readiness for 110 emergency calls or disaster response.
Checks ambulance and emergency medical equipment.
Utilizes communication equipment to consult with physicians and notify hospitals of patient conditions.
Completes detailed documentation on patient care and transport.
Attends CME to maintain licensing and skills.
Provides training and in-service education on equipment and patient care guidelines.
Acts as decontamination officer, overseeing equipment, training, and drills.
Participates in JCI accreditation activities by observing deficiencies and ensuring standards are met.
Serves as preceptor and participates in orientation and training programs.
Performs life support skills and treatment in air transfer via Med-Vac.
Acts as a Glucometer trainer to monitor staff competency.
Participates in teaching life support courses.
Completes hoist and helicopter underwater escape training for Med-Vac.
Completes Critical Care Emergency Transfer Program.
Reports to the Pre-Hospital Care Unit Manager and Division Director.
Participates in campaigns and events as requested.
Completes Hospital Incident Command System training.
Participates in Quality Assurance for protocol compliance.
Contributes to reviewing and updating operational manuals, job descriptions, and policies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a recognized Emergency Medical Technology Paramedic Program from a local or international college/university.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a BS, or
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with a 2-year Diploma.
Certifications/Other requirements
Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, NRP, BDLS, and ADLS.
Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is very desirable.
