Job Title: Sr. Sales & Marketing Engineer
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
Responsible for the sales and marketing of JAL products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets across key sectors including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Utilities, and General Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Introduce JAL products/services based on customer requirements.
- Conduct frequent client visits to generate leads and RFQs.
- Respond to technical and functional RFQ/RFP requirements.
- Attend job explanation and project kick-off meetings.
- Perform site visits with Estimation and Project teams.
- Coordinate with Proposals and Execution teams to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and submit quotations/bids to clients.
- Conduct aggressive follow-ups and negotiations to close deals.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of assigned territory and market trends.
- Understand market dynamics in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, and EPC sectors.
- Collaborate with Sales team members and Technical Experts.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Testing & Communication Services (Substations/Power Plants up to 380 KV)
- Maintenance Services (Substations/Power Plants up to 380 KV)
- Relay and Protection Panels up to 380 KV
- SCADA RTU and SOE Systems
- Capacitor Banks up to 380 KV
- Industrial Electrical Equipment & Components
Reporting Requirements:
- Weekly SMART lead status report
- SAP updates for all opportunities
- Weekly updates on critical projects
- Weekly competitor insights

- Computer literacy and estimation/sales costing skills

Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 5–10 years in Sales & Marketing of power equipment/systems

- Willing to undertake additional duties as assigned by management
