Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr.QC Vendor Inspector - Mechanical to join our team in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components and systems provided by our vendors.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical equipment and components from vendors to ensure compliance with Aramco's quality standards and specifications
  • Perform quality control checks at various stages of the manufacturing process
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation
  • Perform “Hold” ’Witness “and "Surveillance” Inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Assist in performing Quality Audits on certain projects
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or quality issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control and vendor inspection
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination of quality control efforts
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Should have valid AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience for Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience for Diploma degree in quality control and vendor inspection, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Required to have valid Aramco SAP No. and QM approvals
  • Should have valid Driving license
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, quality control processes, and inspection techniques
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical equipment
  • Proficiency in quality control software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in work
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with vendors
  • Willingness to travel to vendor sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as API or NACE or BGAS
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian industrial standards
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME)
