Job description
Overview

Lucid is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to support the execution and evolution of Lucid’s global integrated business planning process. This role will bridge supply, demand, and financial planning across multiple functions, leveraging planning platforms to drive data-backed decisions and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations planning and a track record of working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. This individual will report to the Director of Sales & Operations Planning and collaborate with the supply chain, finance, manufacturing, sales, and program management teams.

You Will
  • Support the end-to-end S&OP cycle through data synthesis, scenario modeling, and KPI development to align demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Drive and scale the use of enterprise S&OP planning tools (e.g., Aera, Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9, or similar) for forecasting, what-if scenario planning, dashboarding, and automation.
  • Serve as the go-to analyst for S&OP tool integration, translating business needs into digital planning solutions.
  • Create and maintain models that reflect the impact of timing shifts, material constraints, and volume changes on build and fulfillment plans.
  • Build cross-functional alignment by preparing and distributing planning outputs to supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and executive teams.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reporting mechanisms with IT and data teams.
  • Track, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service level metrics.
  • Partner with the Director of S&OP to facilitate weekly planning forums, drive root cause analyses, and surface planning risks and opportunities.
  • Document planning processes and provide onboarding and training for new users and stakeholders.
You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain, S&OP, or operations planning, preferably in the automotive or high-tech manufacturing space.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more S&OP platforms such as Aera, Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9, or similar (required).
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and data visualization skills (Excel, Tableau); familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an OEM or Tier 1 automotive environment.
  • Exposure to IBP concepts and financial tie-out processes.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
